As a Project Manager you have oversight of the entire job. You are the key responsible party for ensuring the job is completed professionally, proficiently, on-time and within budget.

Responsible for maintaining quality of equipment and making recommendations when replacements are needed.

Responsible for researching new equipment that could increase efficiency.

Responsible for oversight of Foreman.

Responsible for customer complaints and resolution. Notify management of resolution.

Ensure that Laborers and Installers are being trained properly.

Responsible for submitting one picture per day to management for social media posting.

Organize the delivery of materials and aggregates on a jobsite.

Work with various other trades and subcontractors to ensure the project is running smoothly.

Check the work of Foreman and Installers. Work with Foreman on detecting problems and mitigating errors early.

Always keep the client well-informed. Always notify them of any issue or problem and have a solution before presenting the problem.

Be responsible for the location and planting of all trees and plants.

Know how to use company software and be responsible for punching employees in and out every day.

Return all unused materials to appropriate vendors for accurate job costing.

Be responsible for monitoring the man hours on the job compared to the estimated hours, as well as communicating that with the Foreman.

Check in with the Foreman by 1pm every day to see if he/she needs more materials for the next day.

Learn and master our design software.

Meet with customers and sell projects that you will manage.
Your job title is not an excuse to sit in the truck all day. As a Project Manager, you are expected to guide the project from the beginning to the end. Communication is the key to being successful in this role. Always be thinking 3 steps ahead of the project to ensure the Foreman has what he/she needs when the time comes.
