Daily Tasks:

The Landscape Maintenance Apprentice will be responsible for working with 1-3 crew members, and equipment operation as well as ensuring that all assigned projects are well-maintained and well executed. The landscape maintenance apprentice is responsible for job setup, complete understanding of each project, material and equipment procurement and operation, and efficiency in daily operations. The landscape apprentice is responsible for attending meetings throughout the day with their crew members to ensure everyone has a full understanding of the job scope and expectations. At the end of each day, the landscape apprentice is responsible for assisting the foreman to determine what materials and equipment will be needed for the next day, and loading up their equipment and trucks for the following morning. The landscape apprentice must collaborate with other crews to ensure equipment is being allocated to each crew in the most efficient way.
